Wisconsin has a deep-rooted agricultural heritage that continues on strongly today– Our state cannot run without the dedicated farmers & producers who serve our communities.
Agriculture and the hardworking farmers who produce food, and other vital commodities, for our community are vital to the 16th Senate District and our state. Yet, our farmers continue to face increasingly difficult obstacles and challenges. From dropping milk and product prices to deteriorating infrastructure and environmental degradation, and everything in between, our farmers need our support.
In the State Assembly, I have been proud to support legislation to support farmer's mental health & work to reduce suicide, improve our Wisconsin infrastructure that is vital for farmers and their equipment, improve clean water & our Wisconsin environment that farmers rely on, invest in our rural communities, and more. We have a lot of work to do to help our farmers succeed and maintain Wisconsin’s agriculture heritage.
In the State Senate, I look forward to continuing to work with local farmers and producers to address the issues our agriculture community is currently facing.
